Hello May

 We've been house hunting - don't you love this laundry room with all the storage and counter space!  Yeah, it's not the laundry room of the house we have an offer on. :)  We saw a house at lunch yesterday, and placed an offer last night.  It's in a neighborhood we love, right across from the really well-rated elemetary school and park, it's got a decent yard, and even a 3-car-garage!  Of course, the kitchen isn't as big as I said I was looking for, and there isn't a separate office space for Jon like we said we needed.  Funny how your "must-haves" can change!  Anyway, the housing market is crazy here, so we'll see if we get it or not.  Houses are selling the first day of showings!  There is one other offer so far, but ours is higher. 

 Jack got some new shoes - he picked them out.  I like the fact that they're machine washable - such a good idea for little boy shoes!

 Even preschoolers have homework!  They're studying the night sky right now.

 Jack likes to eat his breakfast in the front window seat on Monday mornings, so he can watch all the trash trucks.

 And yeah, this was May 1st here.  Seriously?  The day before, I was tilling 10 bags of compost into our community garden plot.  We got 5-6 inches of snow, and we do need the moisture.  Hopefully it's the last though - I'd really like to plant some flowers and veggie seeds!
